Setting a Location Destination
In the Destination window, enter an address for the destination host or select the Negotiate option. The destination is the IP address of the system at the remote end of the dial-out connection.
Enter a netmask for this location. If the user-netmask option is enabled on this PortMaster, this will be used as the netmask of the system called by this location.
For PPP connections, the destination can be either specified or negotiated. Assigned addresses are supported for dial-out locations that dial into ComOS 3.9 or greater, or ComOS 4.1 or greater.
