Setting the Loghost Address
The loghost address specifies the host where the PortMaster sends syslog messages. PortMaster products enable you to log authentication information to a system log file for network accounting purposes.
Setting the loghost IP address to 0.0.0.0 disables syslog from the PortMaster.
IMPORTANT! Do not enter the address of a location configured for on-demand connections as your loghost address. Doing so will keep the connections open or bring it up each type a syslog messaged is queued.
