ORWizard Installation

Welcome to the installation of the ORWizard.

This ORWizard will help you configure your PortMaster Office Router.

Both the ORWizard and the installation program run using Java. Therefore, a Java virtual machine is necessary to run both programs. This installation will use a java applet running from your Web browser to install the necessary components of the ORWizard application.

Your browser must have Java and Javascript enabled.

If running from a Unix machine, you need to have xterm set in your path.

This applet will create files on your computer. This may cause a security issue for your Web browser.

Your web browser will likely bring up one or more warning messages that look similar to the image below.

The following items will be installed onto your computer:

A Java Virtural Machine capable of running Java 1.1.4 if your computer does not already have one.
A folder containing the ORWizard application and necessary files.

Once both the Java Virtual Machine and the ORWizard have been installed onto your machine

Close the Web browser
Run the ORWizard application to configure your PortMaster Office Router.

If you agree to let the java applet install the ORWizard, then select Next to continue.
