IPXCP

IPX Control Protocol. A protocol that is used to configure the IPX Network Layer Protocol. To establish communication over a PPP link, each end of the PPP link first sends LCP packets to configure and test the data link. After the link is established and optional facilities have been negotiated as needed by LCP, PPP must send IPXCP packets to choose and configure the IPX Network Layer Protocol. After IPXCP reaches the Opened state, IPX datagrams can be sent over the link. See RFC 1552 for details.
