Adding or Modifying a User ID or Caller ID

You add a user ID, caller ID, or both when you want to receive debug information on that specific ID. If you do not know the user ID, you can enter the caller ID. You can remove a user ID or caller ID from the list when you no longer want to receive debug information about that specific ID. You modify a user ID or caller ID when you want to add user IDs or caller IDs to the active list you are monitoring. Details

To add a user ID or caller ID

  1. From the Modify menu, select "User ID" or "Caller ID," or click the Modify button.

  2. In the or Modify Users or Modify Caller IDs dialog box, click Add.

  3. In the Add User or Add Caller ID text box, type a username or telephone number.

  4. Click OK. The user ID or caller ID appears in the Available column.
  5. To monitor data from this ID, move it to the Selected column by selecting it and clicking the right arrow button.

To remove a user ID or caller ID

  1. From the Modify menu, select "User ID" or "Caller ID," or click the Modify button. The ID must be in the Available column to be deleted.

  2. Select the user ID or caller ID you want to remove.
  3. Click Delete.

To modify a user ID or caller ID

  1. From the Modify menu, select "User ID" or "Caller ID," or click the Modify button. The Modify Users or Modify Caller IDs dialog box appears.

  2. To change an ID from available to selected, select the ID in the Available column, and click the right arrow button. Details
