Setting Up a BootP Database

The BootP database window allows definitions of MAC address/IP address pairs. When the BootPServer receives a BootP request, it searches the BootP database. You can read the selected file in the BootP database and overwrite the BootP database with MAC address pairs in the file. This file must contain each pair on a separate line with the MAC address first.

Note - When you overwrite the BootP database, the file can also have blank lines or comment lines that start with "#". They should not have any other data.
