Update driver version 2.09S Windows 9X and Windows ME: To perform the update a Registry-Key needs to be changed. Start the file regpatch.reg, located in the directory where you extract the files, with a doubleclick. Confirm the next two questions with 'Yes' and 'Ok'. Now you are able to uninstall the old driver. Please choose in 'Start' -> 'Settings' -> 'Control Panel' the icon 'Add/Remove Software'. Now highlight the entry 'MicroLink 56k PCI'. With the button 'Install/Uninstall' you can unistall the modem and all drivers. After you have rebooted your computer, you can install the new driver. Consult the 'MicroLink 56k PCI' manual on how to go about the installation. Choose the answer 'No' , if your system calls for the file 'infunist.exe'. Tip: If Windows asks you for the cd during the installation, choose the directory where you extract the files. Windows 2000: Please click 'Start' -> 'Settings' -> 'Control Panel'. There doubleclick on the 'System' icon. In 'Hardware' open the 'Device-Manager' and in the next window 'Modems'. By doubleclicking the 'MicroLink 56k PCI' you open the properties of the Modem. There open the Tab 'Driver'. After clicking 'Update driver' click on 'Next'. Now choose the option 'Have disk' and then 'Search'. In the next Window choose the directory where you extract the files by clicking 'Open' and 'Ok'. Now you can choose your Hardware (MicroLink 56k PCI HSF EU or US) confirming it with 'Next'. After a click on 'Next' the installation of the driver will start. The installation is complete after clicking on 'Finish' and then restarting the computer.
